Water is the life blood of any community. It is important to get supplemental water sources that do not draw on our already overtaxed underground water supplies. The NCSD is doing a great job in bringing in water from Santa Maria. This will, however, not be enough. Desalination should be considered as an unlimited supply. This is a kind of project that could involve other municipalities to share costs as well as sharing the water.
